Effective date: 8/26/2026
Last updated: 8/26/2026
Overview
The Introspective Company LLC, ("Introspective," "we," "us," or "our"), operates the Introspective mobile application (the "App"), a companion to our physical Introspective strength cards. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the App, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.

Information collected automatically

To provide, maintain, and improve the App's core features (reflections, focus plans, resources)
To personalize your experience, such as showing your selected strengths and past reflections back to you
To send reminders and notifications you've opted into
To respond to support requests
To understand how the App is used, so we can fix problems and improve it
To maintain the security and integrity of the App
To comply with legal obligations
Your reflection content and focus plan entries are personal to you. We do not use the substance of what you write for advertising, and we do not sell it.
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these circumstances:
Service providers — companies that help us run the App (e.g. cloud hosting, analytics, customer support tools, push notification delivery). They can only use your information to provide services to us.
Legal reasons — if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Introspective, our users, or others
Business transfers — if Introspective is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction; we'll notify you if this happens
With your consent — for any other purpose disclosed to you at the time we collect the information
Data Retention
We keep your account information and reflection content for as long as your account is active, so you can look back on your own history. If you delete your account, we'll delete or anonymize your personal information within [X days], except where we're required to keep it longer for legal or security reasons.
Your Rights and Choices
Access and update — you can view and edit your account information and reflection history within the App
Delete — you can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us
Notifications — you can turn reminders off at any time in the App or your device settings
California residents (CCPA/CPRA) — you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email].
EU/UK/EEA residents (GDPR) — if applicable, you have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data, and to object to certain processing.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
International Users
If you use the App from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your own.
