Pride

Roscoe takes real pride in doing things well.

For him, Pride starts with personal standards. He wants the work he puts out — whether in his career, at home, or when he was on the ice — to reflect effort, care, and quality. It’s not about being perfect, but about knowing he has done something to the best of his ability and can stand behind it.

In his work in medical device manufacturing sales, that standard matters. It’s a demanding environment where success depends on preparation, precision, collaboration, and follow-through. Roscoe knows that if he isn’t delivering at a high level, he won’t succeed. That expectation has shaped how he approaches his work, so he takes the time to get things right, paying attention to the details that make an impact.

His past career in Hockey is the place where this strength took shape. He shared that committing to doing things the right way — showing up prepared, staying disciplined, and following through — led to better outcomes for both him and the team.

That same mindset carries into his role as a parent. Roscoe holds himself to a high standard in how he shows up for his two children, knowing that consistency and effort matter over time. It’s less about getting everything right and more about being intentional in how he follows through.

Over time, he has seen that this approach affects others. When people are around someone who cares about doing things well, it often builds confidence and quietly raises expectations.

His advice is to approach each interaction at home or at work as if you’re selling yourself. This helps him to be proud of how he shows up. Take ownership of your work and hold yourself to a standard that matters to you.

For Roscoe, Pride is about putting in the effort to do something right and walking away knowing that he has the best chance of success.

“If you’re not proud of how you show up, it makes achieving your goals that much harder.”
