Work Ethic
The definition of Work Ethic from the Skills Discovery:
You are an extremely hard worker, putting a lot of effort and energy into your work and everything you do.
You enjoy putting in extra hours. You are well-used to working long hours over a long period of time.
You work much harder than others, and you enjoy doing so.
Questions to help you bring this strength to life:
What are you working hardest on right now and why does it matter?
When did you recently go the extra mile and see it pay off?
Where could you put in more hard work?

Strength Story: Gail
The Strength of Work Ethic
Gail's Work Ethic is powered by purpose. When she and her colleagues secured $75 million in state funding to build a preschool program for low-income families in Pennsylvania, the work was intense enough to feel like two full-time jobs. She didn't mind, because she believed deeply in what they were building. That program still runs today.
Her advice: figure out what matters to you, find work that connects to it, and say yes more than you think you should.
